Dentures are removable appliances which are used as replacement of missing teeth. These dentures are artificial teeth which helps in normal functioning of human mouth. Dentures can be complete or partial. Complete dentures are advised when all the teeth are missing and partial dentures are advised when only some teeth are missing. Complete dentures are given an upper and lower arch which fits on ‘U’ shaped upper arch and lower horseshoe shaped porch. These are conventional dentures which have to be removed during night time before going to bed. Partial dentures consist of replacement of some missing in the oral cavity. These are also conventional dentures which have to be removed during night time.
